Robert Mahan Obituary
Allen - Robert Edward Mahan, 73, of Allen, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021. He was born to parents Robert "Bob" and Lilly Mahan, on February 4, 1947, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Robert graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1965. He attended M.S.U. and worked a variety of jobs before starting his own concrete construction company in 1978. In 1990, Robert began his career in civil engineering with Verizon Communications where he worked until retirement in 2015.
Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also had a passion for scuba diving, cooking, and telling stories of his adventures to family and friends. Robert will be forever loved and missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Mahan and his mother, Lilly B. (Pearcy) Mahan. He is survived by his wife, Laura; his brother, Steven L. Mahan and wife, Donna; his two daughters, Tracy Mahan Paskero and Karen Mahan Morris; and his three grandchildren, Trenton and Julia Paskero, and Katelyn Rudd; and niece, Lanisha Mahan Vess.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Hampton Vaughan at Crestview Chapel in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Robert Mahan was a very kind and memorable man even after over 50 years. I am sorry this earth lost such a fine man! God’s blessings to his family as you morn his absence.
