Robert Nichols

Robert Lee Nichols, 33, passed away on July 31, 2025, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was born July 16, 1992 to Angela Lee Hawkins (neé Crawford) and Robert "Johnny" Nichols.

He is survived by his wife, Hannah Holt; his sister, Stephanie Nichols; a niece and nephew, Isabella and Daxton Orrell; his cat Champ; and numerous other friends and family who cherished him deeply. Among them are Brandon Royer and William Ackley-two individuals whose unwavering support and friendship stood as pillars in Robert's life and helped bolster him through his most difficult moments.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his dearest friend Sheeba.

Despite being ridiculous and unruly at times, Robert will always be remembered as a man of kindness and gentleness. He had a soft spot for all animals, and especially adored his cats. He was a lover of good food-albeit often lacking an appetite to fully enjoy it-and delighted in crafting ridiculous food-based disasters that could only sound appealing to himself. These small joys brought light into his days.

Though life presented him with challenges that ultimately could not be overcome, Robert continued to show up-again and again-rejoicing in the moments when he was able to clear away the fog and find himself again. He wasn't perfect, but he was good: a good man and a good friend.

Though his life was far too short for those who loved him, may his memory serve as a reminder of the strength and dedication it takes to remain a bright light, no matter the darkness, and to simply keep trying.
