ROBERT E. "BOB" PETERSON

Robert "Bob" E. Peterson of Palm Coast, FL was born on October 29, 1932 in Johnstown, PA to the late James and Margaret Peterson nee Hoover. He passed away on on October 5, 2012 at his residence in Palm Coast, FL at the age of 79. Bob proudly served in United States Army, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid Steelers fan and was a retired Sani-Dairy Driver. Most recently he worked at the Winn-Dixie on Hwy 100 in Palm Coast for eight years where he bagged groceries for his special friend, Shirley. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, JoAnn Peterson of Palm Coast, FL; son, Jack Peterson of Coconut Creek, FL; two daughters, Barbara Jean and Kathie A; three grandchildren, K.J., Clarzel, and George; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Devyn, Rhian, and Clarzel, all of Johnstown, PA. Bob's family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their loving care and support. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Bob to the Vitas Hospice, 2381 Mason Avenue, Suite #100, Daytona Beach, FL 32117. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Hispanic-American Club, 5 Commercial Ct, Palm Coast, FL, located off of Utility Drive.
