Robert Plaisance Obituary
Mr. Plaisance was born February 21, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Luke Henry Plaisance and Elvina Decareaux Plaisance. He was retired from the City of New Orleans, Louisiana; a retired serviceman with White Funeral Home; and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He married the former Juana Nunez on April 9, 1994.
His parents precede him in death.
Family members include his wife of 23 years, Juana Plaisance; three children, Jared (Candice) McCurnin, Elisha McCurnin, Colleen Mensi; three brothers, Roland Plaisance, Ronald Plaisance, Steven Plaisance; one sister, Beverly Becnel; seven grandchildren, Kerrington McCurnin, Kagan McCurnin, Ian Alexander, Trent Alexander, Emma Mensi, Laura Mensi, Lucas Mensi; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 12 Bilbo Hill Drive, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 am. Fr. Fintan Kilmurray will serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at White Funeral Home, Poplarville with a rosary service at 8:00 pm.
