Robert Robey Obituary
After high school Bob joined the U.S. Army. He was assigned to the NSA as a Chinese linguist. When Bob's service ended, he attended San Jose State University and receive his bachelor's degree and teaching credentials. He then began his career as an elementary school educator. He spent 24 years in the Alum Rock School District teaching 5th grade. In his retirement he and his wife Nancy moved to Las Vegas where he battled HOA corruption and was successful at changing legislation. Bob enjoyed square dancing, traveling, cooking, and telling stories of his youth.
He is preceded in death by his sons' Robert L. Robey Jr, (Skipper), Michael A. Walker, his sister Barbara A. Fitzgerald and his wife of 45 years Nancy L. Walker Robey.
He is survived by his children Caren (Vlad) Pelinovschi, Jennifer Von Der Lohe, Lori (Kevin) Osen, Marjorie Walker and grandchildren Eric (Jennifer) Pelinovschi, Alex Pelinovschi, Steven Von Der Lohe, Lars Osen, Alexa Osen and Milan Walker.
Bob will be missed and remembered well.
