FORTSON, GA -- Robert Allen Seebach, Jr, formally of Sidney, OH, father, grandfather and son, 62 of Fortson, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 28, 2022.
A celebration of life was held at 3 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022, in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Stewart officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. To honor Rob, the family asked those in attendance to wear Ohio State gear. Interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Robert was born August 31, 1960, in Lima, Ohio the son of Frances Pfeiffer and Robert Seebach, Sr. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1979, later earning an associate degree from Ohio State University Lima Branch. After marrying Vicky Williams on June 16, 1984, he advanced his education by obtaining his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and master's degree in personal management at Troy State.
Rob loved his country and served seven years in the United States Army. After the birth of his first son, Rob pursued other careers. Most of his work career was in web design. Rob was a very loving, caring and Godly man. He loved his church and served in many capacities throughout the years. During his 38-year marriage, Rob and Vicky raised two sons and were blessed to raise their two granddaughters, who were everything to him. He devoted all his spare time loving, snuggling and doing fun things with them. Rob was a huge Disney fan which meant several trips to various Disney locations, first with his sons and then with his granddaughters. Rob was an avid Ohio State fan. He tried to never miss a game. It gave him great joy to watch OSU games.
Rob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vicky Williams Seebach of Fortson, Georgia, mother, Frances Pfeiffer, of Sidney, Ohio, father, Robert Seebach, Sr. (Judy) of Lima, Ohio, sons, Cameron Seebach, Robert Seebach III, granddaughters, Bailey and Charlie Seebach, mother-in-law, MaryAnn (Floyd) Collins, sister, Katie Heckler, brother, Scott (Jen) Seebach, nephews and nieces, Chad (Rose) Heckler, Noah (Mariah) Powell, Marley and Kylie Jones, great nephews, Ethan, Jacob and Colin Heckler. Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents Frances and Paul Kennedy.
