ROBERT TAUBMAN Obituary
Lifelong resident of New Dorp, kind-hearted soul, always gave back to the community
Robert S. Taubman, Esq., 56, of New Dorp, died Aug. 1, 2016.
Robert was an attorney, licensed in New York and New Jersey, who practiced with his uncle, Ralph J. Molinari, Esq. He was also the broker/owner of Homesite Realty, Inc., and a member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors.
Robert was a graduate of St. Christopher's, Farrell High School, and College of Staten Island. He later went on to complete New York Law School.
As a child, Robert enjoyed playing basketball at Our Lady Queen of Peace, baseball at Staten Island Little League and softball with Mid-Island Sports Group, where he also managed. He was a fan of the Mets, Giants, Rangers and Knicks.
Robert's hobbies included bicycling and rollerblading, and he spent much of his time tending to his garden. Robert was a volunteer for various local charities, such as Meals on Wheels, Pack to School, and food drives.
Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert J. Taubman. He is survived by his children, Brittany R. Taubman and Hunter S. Taubman, and his mother, Antoinette J. Taubman (nee Molinari).
He is also survived by sister, Marybeth Schneider; brothers, Michael (wife Theresa) Taubman, Thomas (wife Jane) Taubman, Brian Taubman, and long-time friend and business partner, Lisa Imbasciani.
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hanley Funeral Home. Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Our Lady Queen of Peace.

What a gentleman! Bobby, we go back a ways. All the good times at Poor Richards. The time when I put a lobster in the beer cooler...asked for a coors light bottle, and the lobster hooked on to your finger!!! I'll never forget that brother!! Gonna miss you my friend....Teddy Hernandez
