Roger Ackroyd Obituary
20th January.
Roger had a full life as a succesful caterer, meeting dignitaries and celebrities of the day, with his wife and joint host, Nona, at the hugely popular Grange Farm Restaurant in Toton, Nottingham, well into
the late 1970's.
A quote from Egon Ronay's Guide 1963 reads, "The example of the Grange Farm should be held up to hundreds of other caterers in the Midlands. It has almost everything that customers could want".
The Funeral Service will be held at East Riding Crematorium, Octon Cross Road, Driffield, YO25 3BL at 12.30pm on Friday 8th February, with a light buffet lunch following the service at the crematorium's function suite. All welcome.
