FROOME, Ronald Allen After a lengthy illness, with family at his side, on Saturday, December 28, 2002, age 76. Devoted husband of 54 years of Audrey (Morris). Son of the late Bertha and Elmer Froome, he was the Dad who would do anything for his children Judy, Kathy and John (Debbie). He couldn't have loved his grandchildren Christina (Ken Haldenby), David and Jennifer more, and he adored his great-grandson Liam Ronald. A Distinguished President of South Ottawa Kiwanis, Ron will also be missed by friends of Riverside and McLeod-Stewarton United Churches, and camping circles. Special thanks to the caring staffs of the Montfort and General Hospitals. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday, December 30, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
