Rosemary Jean Viste died unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016 with her family at her side after suffering a stroke on January 15th. She was a friend to many and her absence will be keenly felt for a long time.

Rosie was born on October 28, 1946 in St. Cloud to Francis and Lorraine (Raymond) Nolden. She married Robert Viste on October 16, 1965 and they had three children. She was a life long resident of the St. Cloud area and retired from Stearns Manufacturing Company in 2009. To remain active, she continued to work part time for several close friends.

Rosie is survived by her mother Lorraine; children Michelle (Mike) VanKeulen, Doug (Deb) Viste, and Tony (Lisa) Viste; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; siblings Dennis (Carol) Nolden, Carol Huling, Mike (Laurie) Nolden, and Pat (Barry) Lortz; nieces, nephews, extended family; and long time family friends the Viste/Carroll family, Bob Viste, Gordon (Glenola) Viste, Arlene Carroll and Sharon (Mike) Roeschlein.

Rosie was preceded in death by her father Francis.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors of the St. Cloud Hospital, especially Todd and Heather, for their excellent care that was given to Rosie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 10 am to 12 pm at Country Manor Chapel, 520 1st St NE, Sartell MN.
