Ruben H. Rodriguez, 71 of Pearsall, Texas peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family on October 11, 2022, in Pearsall, Texas. He was born on February 3, 1951, in Pearsall, Texas to Jesus Rodriguez Sr. and Manuela Hernandez Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of children, Juanita Irene Castellanos; niece, Joann Garcia and brother in law Pete Martinez.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Rodriguez, Janet Rodriguez Macias (Robert), Tammy Cardona (John) and Melissa Santiago (Carlos); siblings, Jesus "Chito" Rodriguez Jr. (Juanita), Joe Rodriguez (Betty), Roland Rodriguez, Rick Rodriguez, Maria Martinez (Pete)+, Ida Vasquez (Moses) and Carmen Yanez (Rudy Realme). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed watching hummingbirds from his front porch and when he spoke with his daughters he said "I love you all the same".

Ruben lived life to the fullestthough he may have stumbled here and there, he would always get up and face what may head on! I loved him for that! He’d give you that double fist pump and a big ol smile! Heyotra? I’m glad I got to say my goodbyes during his final days on this earth. RIP mi querido Tio! Love Joey
