RYAN BENDER Obituary
Age 33, of Hampton Township, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 21, 2010, in Hampton Township, PA. He was born on Monday, May 24, 1976 in Pittsburgh, PA to David and Valerie (Grabowski) Bender. Ryan was a chef and worked in restaurants in the North Hills. Ryan's beloved Jennifer and his adored children, Sage, Jasmine, Lilly and Cole, were the most important part of his life and they will greatly miss him. He is survived by: his Wife, Jennifer (Klugh) Bender, whom he married on June 25, 2005; his children, Sage, Jasmine, Lilly, and Cole Bender; parents, Valerie (Grabowski) and David Bender of Pine Township, PA; brother, James (Lisa) Bender of West View, PA; sister, Noelle (Brad) Bender-Robison of Shaler Township, PA; niece & nephews, Skylar, Noah, and Logan Bender; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Erin and Mike Klugh; Brother- in-laws Jason Klugh and Justin Klugh.; and his Aunts and Uncles, David & Barb Grabowski, Linda & Joe Cervone, and Susan Platek. Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 till 4:00 and 6:00 till 8:00 PM at HERBERT R. KING, JR. FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Allison Park Church, 2326 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park, PA. It is the family's intention to establish a trust for the benefit of Ryan's children. The family suggests memorials be given for that purpose and details will be forthcoming. I'm very sorry to hear about our loss. I also just lost a friend over the memorial day weekend and didn't hear anything about Ryan until that following week. For a short period of time, I was fortunate enough to have Ryan as a good friend. Through the years, we lost touch. To Ry..I say thanks for introducing me to Aspen cologne and my eye to to the family dining room table. Endless hours playing hockey at the top of the street with Neal and James and a ton of memories. Thoughts and deepest sympathies to the family. Ryan will be missed.
