Guns and hunting also brought her great joy. She was specifically skilled with a muzzleloader and crossbow. She was also an Amateur Radio Operator KI4AUU. My daughter Tasha (Natasha Hale Schmidt) & I speak about Sammy quite regularly, probably like a lot of *band* families - you reminisce. But . . . with Sammy . . . it still hurts. But . . . she also still has that way, that way of being authentically Sam Page. AND, God Bless her for it - now and always. I was looking through some old photos, trying to find a particular picture from when Tasha was at Bay H.S. and there was that bittersweet moment when I scrolled past Sammy (Tasha also attended Arnold H.S.). I had to stop and drop by Sammy's Guest Book. I knew this was the 1st anniversary week (Tasha & I discussed it a few times in the last month), but I wasn't sure if I should say anything. But . . . it's SAMMY! So, I'm saying something. I miss you; you are a part of my family & my life; and my thoughts (& prayers) never stray far from the Page family. Love always, Christine M. Hale

I miss you my friend. We bonded over our raccoons, and found so many things in common besides that. I will miss our 3am conversations when I couldn’t sleep, and you were stuck at work. See you on the other side “CoonieSister”!

Terry and I watched Sammy grow up and we have so many fond memories of the times we were together. Sammy became a sweet and spirited young woman who was the light of her parent’s life. She will be so missed. You will be well remembered sweet Angel.

Sammy was an amazing soul! It was a joy getting to know her and the best thing that could’ve happened to me.
I’ll miss you and remember you everyday from now until the darkness claims us.
