Samantha Jo Watkins, of Quincy left this earth on March 11, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. at the young age of 47, in her home surrounded by love ones. She was born on July 17, 1973 in Quincy, the daughter of Sandra (Platt) and Jerry Sisk and stepdaughter to Kennard Allensworth. On September 13, 2002 she married her best friend and love of her life Thomas Watkins. He called her his fancy face.
Samantha had been employed at Big Lots several years before sustaining an injury and later struggled with liver cancer. She had the most beautiful soul and caring heart. She lived her life for a purpose bigger than herself. She's our hero and savior and will be sadly missed.
Samantha is survived by her husband, her mother, Sandra Allensworth, sons: Gage Sisk and Bryce Fredrick; sisters: Verlenna (Sissi) Sisk and Michelle Sisk; stepsons: Thomas J. Watkins and Charlie Watkins; and stepdaughter: Traci Stephens. She was a grandmother to Gage's son, Zayn Michael Whites and other grandchildren: Annabell Hickey, Braden Hickey, Alrek Stephens, Elliott Stephens, Samual Asher Watkins and Adeyn Stark.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Rowsey, father, Jerry Sisk, stepfather, Kennard Allensworth, grandparents and three dogs she loved dearly.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Samantha's Life will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Riverview Park, Quincy, IL. Memorials may be made to Quincy Humane Society. Services are in care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
