Sandra K.Y. Wong

Framingham – Mrs. Sandra K.Y. Wong, of Framingham, formerly of Bourne, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston. She was 78. Sandra was born in Hong Kong on October 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Kit and Wai Yin (Lok) Wong. At the age of 16 she moved to the United States, settling in Brighton. She had lived in Bourne for a number of years before relocating to Framingham six years ago. Before her retirement she had worked for many years as a technician at the Raytheon Company. She leaves her husband, Bolton S.M. Wong; her daughter, Rebecca Shapiro (Michael) of Wilmington; her grandson, Max Shapiro; her siblings, Kwok Wong (Laiman) of New York, Maria Mak (Kin) of Framingham, Grace Der (CK) of Concord and Po Wong (Mai) of Florida and many nieces, nephews and their families. Family and friends will honor and remember Sandra's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
