Sarah Smothers Obituary

A retired certified nurses assistant, she passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Zachary Manor. She was 100, a resident and native of Weyanoke. Visiting at St. Paul No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry Pate Sr. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by daughters, Katherine Britton (Frank), Susie Moran, Annie White, Christine Joyner (Exel), and Marion Jones; son, George Smothers (Emma); 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements with St. Francisville Funeral Home.
