Sate Farah Obituary
GREENSBORO — Sate I. Farah, a beloved Son, Brother, and a dear friend, departed suddenly to be with our Lord Jesus in Heaven on October 2, 2011 at the young age of 37.
A funeral will be held at The Dormition of the Theotokos
Greek Orthodox Church, 800 Westridge Rd., on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 High Point Rd.
Sate was born in Amman, Jordan. He was very much a devoted family man, a great friend, a dedicated son, and the best brother one could have. He lived a life full of dedication and passion and reached many milestones in his short life while he always led by example. Sate was a graduate of Western Guilford High School, UNCG, and the Highpoint University MBA Program. His passions were his family, playing soccer, and being a devoted friend to all.
He is survived by his mother Amal Farah; sister, Suhair Farah; niece, Lora Farah; brothers Firas and Zaher Farah of the home; grandparents, Hanna and Fareed Farah of Arkansas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel, 5926 W. Friendly Ave. The trisagion will be held at 8:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local homeless shelter, a shelter for abused women, or a church.

I will miss Simone a great deal. Working on the same floor, I was always happy to run into him during the day. He had a gift for relating to people and encouraging them. See you in heaven, my friend.

To "Simone's" family, I cannot express in words how sorry I am for your loss. The loss we feel here at United Guaranty I am sure cannot begin to compare with your loss, and our loss is very deep! Simone was such a great person and I feel extremely blessed to have called him a friend. I will miss his personality and especially his smile! May God grant you the Peace of heart that only He can give. I am thankful that my path crossed with Simone's and I look forward to seeing him again some day!
