Savanna Richman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 25, 2025.
Savanna Renae Richman, age 36, passed away on August 18, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1989, in Germany where her father was stationed in the U.S. Army, and she grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Savanna was truly one of a kind. She was beautiful, and she had a beautiful mind to match. Incredibly intelligent, witty, and full of quirks, she had a way of seeing the world that was uniquely her own. She loved good writing, good music, and good conversation, and she had a poetic soul that poured itself into countless notebooks and MacBooks filled with her thoughts and dreams. She found beauty in odd things, because she was wonderfully odd herself, and she carried a humor and sharp wit that made her unforgettable.

Savanna adored her dog, Lucy, who was her constant companion. She loved puns and comedy, and her quick, clever humor could brighten even the darkest of days. She is deeply loved by her family, and she will be remembered not only for her intelligence and creativity but also for the warmth and joy she brought to those who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Lisa LaFlower (Richard); her father, John Richman (Lisa); her sister, Katrina Kitchens (Matthew); her bonus siblings, Colton LaFlower and Sidney and Carly Fortunato. She is also a beloved aunt to Joel Kitchens (Alexia, with their child Prayer Kitchens), Kayden Beckingham (Wyatt), and Noah and Jonah Kitchens. She leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Savanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hisae "Teddy" Matosky and Andrew Matosky; Carolyn Richman and John Richman II; her uncle, Sammy Richman; her aunt, Elisa Richman; and her cousin, Titus McKnight-Richman.

Savanna's family and friends will remember her as a brilliant, witty, poetic soul who brought laughter, thoughtfulness, and love wherever she went. Her presence was a gift, and her absence is felt deeply.

She will be honored privately by her family.
