SEAN MURPHY Obituary
40, of Pittsburgh, PA, departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born December 12, 1969 in Pittsburgh, PA and was the son of Mildred K. Burgwin of Verona, PA and the late Norman Murphy. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Marquis Taylor. He was a 1985 graduate of McKeesport High School and the Naval ROTC Program. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1985-88, was a former member of the Potter's House Ministries and was employed in advertising sales. Surviving are his mother; children, Jaquan Murphy, Breawna Taylor, Lydyn Murphy, Sean Murphy, Jr. and Malik Cash; sisters, Joy Renee Burgwin of McKeesport and Shirley Taylor of Columbus, OH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, March 4th at the ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 2326 Jenny Lind St., McKeesport, PA. Services will be held at Petra International Ministries, 235 Eastgate Drive, East Hill, PA. on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Bishop Donald O. Clay, Jr., Pastor. Entombment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, PA.

To My Dearest Sean Lavell David Murphy, You have been truely missed. This hasn't been easy for me at all. I carry with me over 20 years of a wonderful friendship. That could never be forgotten or replaced. This has been one difficult pill that I ever had to swallow. "Who You Wit", You are still in my heart. Your advice speaks in volummmmms in my life. My last words that I said to you :) I love you the most.
To his family, my heart goes out to all of you. May GOD bless you and bring you a peace of mind! He was such a fine young man. He touched alot of people with his charm and character. I can go on and on and on about Sean. Just want to let you know, your son, brother, cousin, friend, and My best friend is truely missed.

I met Sean a few years ago although I only knew him for a very short time he brought a lot of laugther and fun when we hung out. Sean always had a smile on his face and that I will always carry with me. Sean will be deeply missed. May GOD continue to keep you during this difficult time.
