I will always remember my beautiful boy. Sebastian My Little Buddha is what I would call him. My first born. He was a ball of sunshine. I will always love him and I know now that he is in a better place. Mommy loves you my little Buddha

I met Sebastian just once and I am thankful that I've had that privilege. It was in May 2012 right before the family moved to Florida, and he was just 6 years old then and quite an energetic little fireball. I remember his gleeful face as he moved back and forth constantly, and that smile was just downright contagious. He's certainly not like any child I've ever met, and I'm wholly certain there was a good purpose for him being here during his time on Earth. He couldn't speak but he surely spoke to my heart and I learned some good lessons from him. I was highly impressed with the unconditional and unceasing love and care that Stan and Tricia provided Sebastian, and those traits are an ironclad testament of their undying devotion to their son. It was said back then that he was not expected to make it past 10 years of age, but Sebastian had by far exceeded everyone's expectations and I truly believe it was because of the family's unfailing love that provided him the will to keep going as long as he could (kind of like the well-known "The Little Engine That Could" story). My condolences and deepest sympathy to Stan, Tricia and the family for this very sad loss, and countless kudos to Stan and Tricia for being wonderful parents. In closing, I would like to share a quote which my good friend Mark's late mother Jan wrote in the sympathy card that she sent me after my father died almost 15 years ago. This quote stuck with me ever since. It was written, "Death creates a wound which no one can heal, but yet it creates memories which no one can steal."

Sebastian taught me that happiness is the key to life. The many times he was hospitalized, he would always smile when we walked into the room. His smile would light up the room and his laughter was contagious! We miss you at home and love you so much! Love, Your Forever Mommy

We didn´t get to spend a lot of time together but I remember the first time we met . He was always smiling every time I would see him across the room I would see his big smile.
Other times when we were together I saw that same smile always there.
But the biggest and brightest smile came as he interacted with his parents, Tricia could say anything to him and that smile would pop out.
Seeing them has always warmed my heart , because I knew they were special people who had a special bond. I know it´s hard now and the memories bring tears, but soon the memories will Bring you smiles just like his. I love you all , hope you got the tree we sent
Always here

Sebastian loved being with our family and observing nature. We would go on family nature walks and we were able to get him on a boat that he loved. When we had a trampoline, he loved playing on the trampoline with our sisters and I. We would have little dance party's together. He loved all different kinds of music. Him and I share the love of death metal. We watched as many Tampa Bay Lightning games as we could together, he loved the Lightning. Even if he couldn't verbally speak, he would speak to your heart. His smiles and giggles always brightened up the room. He is an awesome lil dude and the best little brother ever. I miss you so much, I love you to the galaxy and back bubbas.

In this time of sadness. Only remember that you guys time on this Earth the best he ever could have asked for. Him, knowing he was so strongly loved, was what brought the light in his eyes. He was stronger than doctors gave him credit for at birth. His story should inspire any who knew him.

What a great kid Sebastian was. I loved how he´d fake sleep- and then grim when we called him on it! Memories of him will always make me smile.

Sebastian taught me that the key to life is happiness. With all of his medical struggles, he always had a smile on his face.
