SEVILLA FLUKAS Obituary
Age 89, of Glade Mills, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at UPMC Passavant. She was born March 28, 1926, in Bentleyville, PA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Mae (Guthrie) Banks. Sevilla had been a member of Holy Sepulcher Church and retired as a custodian for Mars High School. She enjoyed working around the home and watching her sons play sports. Surviving are four sons, Robert Flukas (wife, Denise) of Scott Township, Dan Flukas (wife, Karen) of Phoenix, AZ, Phillip Flukas (wife, Danette) of Florence, MT, and John Flukas of Glade Mills; grandchildren, Gina Switala and Bobby Flukas; great-grandchildren, Michael, Mason, Nicholas, and Carlos; a brother, William Banks of Cokeburg; and niece, Alyce and her daughter, Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel Flukas; and her sister, Vivian Banks. Friends will be received at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Sunday, May 17, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Blessing Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015, at 10 a.m., with Father Robert Cedolia, officiating. I can't begin to tell you how much your mom meant to me. We spent a fair amount of time together at the high school, as well as at many sporting events in which you participated. She was unfailingly kind and sweet, and I have thought of her often over the years. May your memories of her help you through this very difficult time.
