ISSENMAN, Seymour Charles. Courageously, on Sunday, April 9, 2006, at the age of eighty-four. Beloved and loving husband of Marilyn Cohen Vaintrub and the late Rena Cohen. Devoted father and father-in-law of Leanne Sanders, Donna and Mort Grostern and extended family of Reysa Vaintrub, Ellen Brozak and Jerry Dynbort. Most cherished grandfather of Rachel and Michelle Grostern, and Lee Brozak. Son of the late Sally and the late Eddy Issenman. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Peter Issenman and Lois Tucker. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to his exceptional caregivers Nick, Claudette and Linda, and to the wonderful staff and volunteers on the 3rd floor of Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral Service took place at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. Shiva at his home. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva ends Wednesday, April 12 at noon. Donations in his memory may be made to the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, (514) 369-2222 Ext.: 1334. He led a full and rich life, and was gifted with a keen intellect.
