To the stars.
Amongst the most shining gems, one can see from the earth. Your presence in flesh may be gone, but your beauty and energy light up the night skies, and bring warmth everyday I look up. When the day is on, and the stars hidden, your energy is sent into fill the souls that are struggling, bringing wisdom and reasoning, making us feel no longer alone- and perhaps only making us better people in the long run. Only a woman of saintly qualities makes such an earthly impact. Words however can not compare to the emotions and peace that embraces me every-time a though of you bestows me. You are the definition of love, and will forever be loved.

We didn't know Sydney nearly long enough, but it was obvious from the start that she was a vibrant, energetic, warm, and loving woman - one of only a few angels that we have here on earth. Without knowing us well, she immediately made us feel like she had known us a lifetime. I will never forget the gigantic bag of goodies she bought for our newborn son - such a generous soul. Her granddaughter is so right - there is a very special place for her in heaven. So glad to have known you, Sydney. Peace to you and yours.

Mrs Carriveau (Cariboo!) was one of the greatest teachers. She always made us laugh and managed to keep our crazy group of girls in line! I was privileged to have her for french and english at CCI. She was a teacher who is fondly remembered by many students.
The world will certainly be less bright without her......
Thinking of Mr. Cariboo, Rupp and Renee during this very difficult time.

Eddie, Renee, Rupp and family,
When I began teaching at Tecumseh High School in 1968, Sharon became a dear colleague and friend who always saw the funny side of things. Her unique way of looking at the world made a lasting impression on me. We drifted apart over the years, but I never forgot her wonderful laugh and smile and kindness. Sharon will be greatly missed. To my dearest gma, most people talk about heroes in the movies or stars they aspire to be like but you were mine. My parents always told me, constantly you are your gma, maybe its the fact we spent so much time together. From a young age you raised me, you were always there throughout all the years, through the good the bad, you were always there to lean on. Every quality I have of you I'm honoured. You were incredible, you were not only brilliant but genuine, you touched the lives of so many people, I can only aspire to be half the person you were. You were the most beautiful person inside and out, and you will always be my bestfriend. I love you forever and always gma. I know there's a special place for you, because you were so special to me. Thank you for being my mentor, my friend, and my gma it was an honour. Thank you for showing me what life was about, and being there for every birthday and your anniversary we truly had a "special bond". Love always your "B"

We have been good friends and. neighbour's since 1967. We will sure miss her unique greeting on the answering machine and her welcoming hospitality whenever we were there offering us a coffee or a glass of wine if time was suitable. John will really miss the bake goods she would always send as she knew what a sweet tooth he had.
