Sherri McQuarter-Robinson, 62, of New Orleans, passed away on May 11th, 2024 in New Orleans, LA

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday May 25th, 2024 at The Wedding Company 1 in Slidell, LA with the pastor Leroy Lampkin of Forest Hill Baptist Church out of Mobile, AL, officiating.

Sherri McQuarter-Robinson was born in New Orleans, LA to Alfred Sr and Hilda Spears-McQuarter on November 24th, 1961. She graduated from Francis T. Nicholls class of 1979. She was a business owner of Sherri's Creole Café in Mobile, AL for 5 years. She was involved in the Undeniable Ladies Social and Pleasure Club in New Orleans, LA.

Sherri is preceded in death by her father Alfred McQuarter Sr.; grandmother Olivia Spears, and son Junius Hawkins III.

Sherri is survived by one daughter Kenedra Hawkins (Kawanza); her mother Hilda Spears-Mcquarter; one brother Alfred McQuarter Jr.; one sister Sonya McQuarter all of New Orleans, LA; one bonus daughter Allura Wheeler of Mobile, AL; two best friends Marie Poole of New Orleans, LA and Beverly R. Pitts of Prichard, AL; one special friend Tamica Pete of New Orleans, LA; 3 grandchildren Junius Wheeler, Markita Mccalpine, and Taijah Hawkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
