MUIRHEADSidney William. August 19, 1917-September 26, 2007. It is with much sadness, we announce that our beloved father and grandfather has gone home to be with his Lord. Predeceased by his wife Mary, he is remembered by his children Eleanor (John), and Calvin (Lynda), grandchildren Craig, Laura, Holly, Heather and Helena and great-grandson Austin. Sidney was a teacher and loved to share his experience and knowledge. He touched many lives with his caring, thoughtful and generous nature. A memorial service will be held at Berea Baptist Church, 6062 132nd St, Surrey on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Sidney's name to The Gideons International or the Union Gospel Mission would be appreciated.

To "Uncle Sid's" Family:
He was the oldest cousin of 22, and now the fourth to leave this life. We know that He is now in a better place, and has seen the face of God...what a joy that must be to you. May you feel the peace of Jesus at this time.

To Sid's family and friends, our prayers are with you during this time. Your father, grandpa, great grandpa and friend was an inspiration to us and seriously displayed his love for the Lord in all he did. He will be remembered well by Dave and I (known each other for over 20 years) and we look forward to the day we can chat again with him in Heaven.
