DALLAS
STEPHEN S.

94, of West Chester, PA (formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and Boynton Beach, FL), passed away on December 6, 2017, surrounded by his family. Born in 1923 in Manhattan, Stephen was the son of the late Mary and James Dallis. Loving, gentle, and a man of great faith, Stephen devoted his life to his family. Nothing brought him more joy and gratitude than his wife, Pat, his five children, and his ten grandchildren. Steve had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, and all who knew him were touched by his warm and genuine smile. A musician at heart, he played the guitar and piano, and could not resist tapping along to a good beat.
Steve bravely served in the U.S. Army's 845th Engineering Aviation Battalion during World War II. After his honorable discharge in December 1945, he attended New York University, where he received his B.S. in aeronautical engineering. He went on to work as an engineer in Boeing's Aerodynamics department for 45 years.
Steve was the beloved husband of the late Patricia M. Dallas (nee Kenney); loving father of Susan Dallas-Feeney, D.O. (Christopher), Marianne Guzzardo (Philip), Stephen Dallas, Jr., James Dallas (Celia), Patricia Hanchak (Nicholas, M.D.) and the late Jane Frances Dallas. He was the loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Nicholas Dallas, Juliette Dallas-Feeney, Christopher Dallas-Feeney Jr., Dominique Dallas, Stephen (Beau) Dallas, Nicholas Hanchak, Stephanie Hanchak, Max Dallas, Cassie Dallas and Sammy Dallas. He was the older brother of Isabelle Dallis of Boynton Beach, FL, and the late Nicholas Dallis.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9 to 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 11th, and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment is at Ss. Peter & Paul Cem., Springfield, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Medical Missions Sisters
(medicalmissionsisters.org); Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters (The Pink Sisters, adorationsisters.org); or Christ House (christhouse.org).

I loved my father so much, I miss him so *very very* much. He brought such joy and light to my heart every single time I saw him. He taught me gratitude and humility just by his actions and spiritual words. He was the kindest, and most loving father one could ask for. I was so deeply blessed he was mine.
He loved my mother and spoke about missing her every day and said how much he loved me and my siblings and his grandchildren as he said prayers aloud nightly along with a special blessing every time I was there at night in his bed. He's no longer suffering on this Earth and is with my dear sweet mom.. they are united at last. I LOVE YOU DAD and I thank you for showing me how to love by your actions. May you rest in peace. *ALL* of my love, your "Shorty", Marianne
