Born in Louisville to Robert and Elouise Drescher. Stephen served in the Air Force, worked as a lineman for Louisville Power, taught middle school shop in The Dalles, sold Electrolux door to door and worked for Portland Parks. He was an avid bicycle rider riding up to 30 miles a week as recently as last year. He was an advocate for the environment and a friend to the disenfranchised.
Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Judith.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday June 16, 2018, at Mt. Scott Park Presbyterian Church.
