Steve Hermosisima

Esteban Campos Hermosisima was born on February 25, 1932 in the City of Cebu, Republic of the Philippines to Regino G. Hermosisima and Domitila L. Campos from Sibonga. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar on May 9, 1959. He was known as Steve Hermosisima after becoming a U.S. Citizen. Beloved husband of Celerina, and father to Grace, Lloyd, Elaine, Victoria and Christine. He was "Papa" to his five grandchildren – Jennifer, Lauren, Elaine, Steve, Daniel - and two great-grandchildren – Skye and Chloe. Steve practiced law in the Philippines and worked for the State of California before retiring. He was a resident of Hawthorne, CA since 1973. He loved to read books, played chess and tennis. He was an avid history buff. He also loved poetry. He loved to walk around the house singing. Reverend Gerhard Habison will officiate all services. The service information is as follows: - Thursday, 9/5/2013, 3 – 8pm: Viewing at Green Hills in Rancho Palos Verdes - Friday, 9/6/2013, 11:30am: Funeral mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hawthorne. Honorary pallbearers include his son, grandsons, son-in-laws, cousins, and close friends. - Friday, 9/6/2013, after mass: Procession and graveside service at Green Hills (interment).
