Steven Lloyd Scrivener

Steven L. Scrivener, 55, of Navasota passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the family present from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, at Bryan United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Steven was born on February 16, 1952 in Navasota, Texas, son of Eloise (Cowart) and Paul Scrivener. He was a firefighter with the Bryan Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Scrivener. Steven is survived by his wife, Margaret Scrivener of Navasota; mother, Eloise Scrivener of Navasota; sons & daughters-in-law, Cody & Marie Scrivener of Salem, AK, Scott Cochran & Terri Oldham of College Station, Steven & Liliana Cochran of Flower Mound, TX, and Tom & Charlotte Cochran of Keller, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Scrivener of Lindale, TX and Stacy & Joey Porter of Navasota; and brother, Robert Scrivener of Navasota.
