Deepest sympathy to all family and friends. I remember her fondly when we were raising our sons together, Danny and Jamie, in Hollywood Park.

As a young nurse, I used to work with Susan some 30 years ago when she was in charge at the Presbyterian Homes. She was a caring and compassionate nurse both toward the patients and her staff. She also had the most realistic view of life and death that I have ever seen. She never let people suffer and made sure they had the meds they needed to be comfortable. I learned a lot from her that I still carry with me as I age myself.
My condolences to her family and loved ones.
