Susan Heather Martell

On the morning of January 9, 2022 Susan Heather Martell (54) passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was ready, our hearts were not. She fought a very courageous battle of cancer and is now at peace. She was a proud mother to her four children, predeceased Evan Martell, Nicholas Salouros (Julie Bodendistel), Joshua Galvao and Brooklynn Galvao, grandmother to Ava Jade Fetterly, and partner to Manuel Galvao. Sue was deeply loved by her mother Patricia Washington, and father, predeceased James Martell and step father, predeceased Ed Holdsworth. Sister to Debbie Procter (Steve), Jullie Harrison (Terry), Jennifer Van Oers (Peter predeceased) and Jeffery Martell (Nadine) She will be dearly missed and remembered by her nieces, nephews, many friends and family. Sue will be remembered for her kindness, immense generosity, witty sense of humour and enormous heart. Special thank you to the Katherine W and the Bayshore team, for all their support and providing Sue with the upmost compassionate care through her final days. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or service at this time. A celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date.
