Suzannah Soloviev Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2024.
Suzannah McLellan, 38, passed away the afternoon of September 22, 2024 in Boston, MA, surrounded by family and people that loved her.

Her daughter was her greatest joy in life, and she was always planning their next adventure together. Fiercely protective of the people she loved, especially her husband, she remained a caregiver to others until her last day. She kept a bell on her desk to ring when there was something that required joy. Celebrating milestones was important, whether small or large. She was always happy to ring the bell for others as well, especially when one of her clients got one step closer to finding their passion in work or life.

Another passion was hosting parties, especially the annual New Years around-the-world fete. This was well paired with her adventurous spirit - she lived in Beijing, Hong Kong, and London. In college, she directed multiple productions for the Wellesley College Shakespeare Society and went on to obtain a Masters in Theater Education from Emerson College.

A lifelong devout Orthodox Christian, in recent years she began to learn Byzantine chant and directed the choir at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Soloviev; her spirited daughter Ella; siblings Ann, Daniel, Genevieve, and Andrew, her mother Jolinda, her loving in-laws, many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and one nibling, a long list of best friends, and her devoted followers Nimmy and Percy.

I met Suzie online, and was in a couple of different masterminds with her. She was a joy to be around. She was so supportive, so outgoing, and so loving and caring in her interactions with others. She and I got to hang out for a day in Boston in late 2020 when I was visiting, and it was an absolute pleasure to share a meal with her and get to go thrifting with her in her favorite places.

I worked with Suzie a decade ago and remember her positive attitude and outlook on life. She always wore a smile and was a pleasure to chat with. I enjoyed keeping up with her business ventures on LinkedIn over the years. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and send my sincere condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
