Sylvia Smithee Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 2, 2011.
Born on May 3, 1939 in Anniston, Alabama, Sylvia Ann Smithee passed away at home in Placerville on September 2, 2011. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Blade H. Smithee, Vanessa Renee Smithee, and Dalena Ann Smithee; grandchildren, James Harrison Smithee, Trevor Blade Smithee and wife Anna, Benjamin Carroll Smithee, and Boston Ray Smithee; brothers, Billy Stevens and Larry Stevens; and sister, Phyllis Sogo.

Sylvia enjoyed arts and crafts, antiquing, and collecting a variety of items decorated with irises. She loved her "programs," and never missed her favorite episode of Real Housewives, Survivor and Amazing Race. Sylvia was a wonderful, caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many. She embodied the true meaning of unconditional love. She will be deeply missed.

In accordance with Sylvia's wishes, there will be no services. She expects everyone to live life to the fullest and to be kind.
