Taeyeon Song Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 17 to May 18, 2022.
Taeyeon Kim Song, age 52, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on May 13, 2022, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Suncheon, South Korea, she was the daughter of Se Jong and Hoe Bong Kim and wife of James T. Song, MD. Taeyeon graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. She was also very passionate about the game of golf. She was a competitive golfer, later becoming a golf champion. Taeyeon was the kindest and had the purest heart. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She was a wonderful and amazing mother, who raised two extremely capable and beautiful girls. She was also a wonderful and amazing wife, who cared for and loved her husband for more than 30 years. She was a faithful and humble daughter-in-law, who loved her extended family and gave to them all that she could, always. She was a loyal and faithful daughter like no other to her parents. She protected them and supported them in every way. Taeyeon was a great friend to so many who loved and respected her beyond measure. Above all, she is a smiling daughter of God with the purest of heart who is now running with God in Heaven with new, strong legs, always looking down to watch over her family, to help them, see and reach for Heaven, so they can again be with this amazing and wonderful Taeyeon.

In addition to her parents and husband, Taeyeon is survived by her two daughters, Katie Song and Audrey Song; and two brothers, Jun Kim, and Andrew Kim.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Abingdon Campus of the Mountain Christian Church followed by a service at 1:00 pm.
