Tetiana Ryzhykova Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 2 to Aug. 3, 2014.
Tetiana Ryzhykova, 75, passed away on Friday, August 1 at home, after a long battle with cancer. Native of Ukraine, she moved to Syracuse to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Stanislav Ryzhykov; her daughters, Natalya (Anatoly) Zak of Morristown, NJ, Genia (Mark) Griffen of Jamesville, NY; granddaughter, Suzanna Zak of Los Angeles, CA; and brother, Ivan Norik of Ukraine.

She was known for her zest for life, kindness and the most contagious smile. Best mother and wife, she will be thoroughly missed.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the oncology staff at Hill Medical Center for their care and compassion. They would also like to say thanks to their workplaces, Menorah Park and Novartis, for allowing an opportunity to be with their loved one during the most difficult year of their life.

The private service will be held on Monday, August 4, at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc. Interment: Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville.
