Published by Legacy Remembers on May 27, 2025.
Theresa "Tessa" Denise Helmandollar-Moulton of Ormond Beach FL passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 14 2025, called home to God the Father she loved above all else. She was surrounded by her family when she passed. She was just 59.

Tessa was born Feb 6, 1966, in Manassas VA, to her beloved mother Lynda Denise Croteau and father Larry Anthony Fairfax. Her late maternal grandparents were her beloved Muriel "Memere" and Raymond "Pepere" Croteau.

She is survived by her husband Russ Moulton Jr of Ormond Beach Fl, her younger sister Suzette Distler of Bealton VA, and her three children, Cory Helmandollar (34) of Orange VA, Lacey Helmandollar (30) of Stafford VA, and Tyler Helmandollar (28) of Galveston TX, and her 5 grandchildren, Daniel Gail (10), Madison Helmandollar (7), Gavin Gail (6), Layne Gail (4), and Riley Helmandollar (2). She is also survived by her niece Rachael Distler of Bealton VA, her Aunt Cindy Peacher of Hanover PA, her uncle Larry Fairfax of Romney WV, and her aunt Pam Lagundo of Lorton VA.

Tessa was baptized at All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas VA on Apr 3 1966. She miraculously received the Holy Spirit Nov 27 2023 and shortly afterwards experienced an "Illumination of Conscience".

She received her First Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion January 17 2024 at the Basilica of St Paul in Daytona Beach FL. She was Confirmed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Orlando at the Basilica of St Paul Jan 29 2025, taking the Confirmation name St Paul. She and Russ received the Sacrament of Marriage at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fredericksburg VA Dec 14 2024. She received Last Rites Tuesday May 13th.

Since Tessa's conversion, she went on His mission to share with everyone she met God's tremendous love and mercy for us. She shared the Good News of Christ's life, death and resurrection that we might one day have eternal life with Him in Heaven. She loved spending her days in prayer talking with God, praying the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy, reading the Bible, and participating in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Adoration, often daily. To her, Mass and Adoration were "Heaven on earth", and she wanted everyone she knew to experience it.

Her Funeral Mass will be 2pm Friday June 6 at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fredericksburg VA, Father Mosimann officiating. Interment will follow immediately afterward at 4pm at Stafford Memorial Park in Garrisonville VA where she will be laid to rest across from her Memere and Pepere. Memorial Reception for family and friends will be held afterwards at 5:30 pm at 12001 Sawhill Blvd Spotsylvania VA 22553 (rsvp to 540-842-4585).

Tessa,
I will miss you and think of you the rest of my life. Knowing you since we were only 15 and being in each other's weddings.
You were a wonderful mother and friend.
Just such a special soul. Words cannot describe my feelings for you. I am so sorry you were taken so soon. I know your new husband and your children and grandchildren will miss you dearly.
Until we meet again in heaven. I love you.
