BRIDEL, Thomas Frederick
Thomas Frederick Bridel, of Brampton, Ontario, passed away on September 27th, 2011 at age 85, with his family by his side, following a prolonged illness. Thomas is survived by his brother Ken, his children Linda and husband Mark, Wayne and partner Marni (her son Justin), Lori, Janet and husband Geoff, Robert, Glenn and partner Pilita (her children Annie and Paul), niece Julie and husband Eric (children, Nathaniel and Norah), nephew Gregory and wife Jill, sister-in-law Muriel and husband Terry, and his beloved grandchildren: Caitlin, Claire, Alyssa, A.J. (Amanda), Andrew and Christopher. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 940 North Park Drive in Brampton. Interment is to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Society, or to a charity of the donor's choosing. The family would like to express their gratitude for the love and support of relatives and friends, the care and support of Home Care Nurses, the Wise Elephant (Brampton) Palliative Care team, and the Brampton Civic Hospital Palliative Care nursing staff.

We have just received the news of Tom's passing. He left us with lovely memories and great stories. You will miss him we are sure but Thelma will be happy to have him at her side. They were a wonderful pair and we have been honoured to have known them. Our prayers are with you all.
