Having lived so far away from family for so many years, I was much younger when I had the privilege of spending time with Tom. I always remember calling him, "Cousin-in-Law." May the sweet and incredible memories of your life together help you through this challenging time. Sending our love to you and your family.

Tom was such a gentle and kind human being. Every time that I go past your house in Walnut Hills, it is still the Byrne's house. Many great memories in the neighborhood with the Byrne's family. My prayers are with all of you for the loss of your amazing Husband, Dad, & Grandpa. May you be blessed with beautiful memories.

My favorite memory was white river rafting on the wolf river. We had so many laughs.

Tom was not only a dear friend and neighbor, but also a valued work associate whose kindness and integrity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. My memories of Tom are many including exciting trips to Ireland, Scotland, Florida, Arizona, etc over the years. One that I would like to share is when Tom was driving a big van with Carol, Jo and I around Ireland on the very narrow roads. He did it masterfully, but we did have a few close calls with hedge rows, passing vehicles and a few pedestrians that would venture too close to the van as we were passing by.
Please know that Jo´s and my thoughts and prayers are with the Byrne family during this difficult time. Tom´s memory will live on through his and Carol´s wonderful family and the many other lives he touched, including ours.

While living in Manitowoc Tom Byrne hired our son to work in his factory while on college brake. His first day of work Tom came over to see how Lewis was doing and invited him to his home for supper. At the end of his work day Lewis was invited to "hang out' with his co-workers. Lewis said he can't ,he is having dinner with the boss this evening and Mom said" I have to take a shower first and clean-up".
Tom had a heart of gold and his hands now lay to rest. He will be sadly missed. Bill and Kitty Schwartz

Dear Carol
I was so sorry to hear about Tom.
He was such a strong person. I so enjoyed his wisdom and support during my time at 21st. He was never afraid to voice his opinion. Loved that about him.
Hugs to you and your family.
