Thomas Lemme Obituary
Sioux Falls - Thomas Wayne Lemme, age 45 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on June 28, 2018 after a long illness. He was born on May 19, 1973 in Sioux Falls, SD.
He is survived by his mother Betty O'Dea (Jerry) Lake Madison, his father Wayne (Kathy) Lemme, Sioux Falls; one brother Jerry (Robin) Lemme Dell Rapids, his bonus sisters, Penny Johnston (Bob), Sioux Falls, Brenda O'Dea, Owatonna, MN, Jessica Lemme-Bolt (Joe) Tucson, AZ and Erin Rohrer (Dave), Charlotte, NC and four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jason Lemme.
Tom began attending the South Dakota School for the Deaf when he was 18 months old and graduated in 1992. He held an assortment of jobs through the years. Tom began skateboarding when he was 8 years old and continued well into his 30's. He was very good at it and participated in many contests. Tom's deafness made life very difficult sometimes. He struggled with life's ups and downs through the years, but he never stopped loving his family and they never stopped loving him.
Memorial services for Tom will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, SD. The family will be present one hour prior to the service to greet friends. www.heritagesfsd.com.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Tom was a good friend growing up, and I often think fondly back on our adventures. He came with us on family vacations, spent time at our Lake Madison cabin, and we spent countless hours together exploring Sioux Falls on our skateboards or just hanging out playing video games. He was a great guy and I'll always cherish the memories of our time together. Wishing the best for your family.

My heart goes out to you. Thinking of you in this time of sorrow. My sincere sympathy at this time of sorrow. I have good memories of Tom as a student at SDSD. It's always hard when one's former students pass away. I feel bad that he struggled with up and downs through through the years. Yet, there was always a good side of him.
