Ian and I were lucky enough to spend some time with Uncle Tommy when we were over in September last year. He left Scotland when I was 8 and I remember his leaving party very well. More than 50 years later he seemed unchanged by time - still dogmatic, still right and still loving. He will be sadly missed by all of us - my Dad (Charlie, his brother), mum Jean and my sisters Janice and Laura. We know that all of Tom's family mourn his passing and will remember good times with him. We send our love and remembrance of a loving, family man.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was such a special man. I have so many fond memories of him. When I was a teen I was lucky to travel to England and Scotland with the family. Tom told me I wasn't allowed to call him Dad as it made him feel old. I was only allowed to call him 'Bro'. Many times I have thought of him over the years, rest in peace 'Bro'. My thoughts and love go to his family.

He will be missed - his stories were fabulous! Tom made the past come alive. And he was so very proud of Caitlin and Scott - I remember those lovely murals he painted in their bedrooms and he was so patient with them as they were growing up. As much as he will be missed, with all the special memories, he will also be remembered with love.
