TURNER, Major Thomas Neville (Tom). Reg No: A30682, Royal NZ Infantry, 2nd Battalion NZ Regiment. On February 17, 2018 peacefully, aged 78 years. Father to Tom, Tanya, Paul, and Andrew. Grandfather to Robyn, Sam; Alana, Tegan; and Kyle and great grandfather to Stephanie- Rose, Hayden, and Connor. Tom is much loved and will be greatly missed and his contribution to our country will be long remembered. Friends are invited to attend a full Military Service in honour of Major Tom's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on Friday 23rd February 2018 at 1.30pm to be followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery. Dempsey & Forrest. Locally Owned.

To all the Turner Family
So sad to hear of the death of Tom Turner. I first met when he was at Sandhust and our home was his UK base. I last saw him in 2001 in NZ when I was over for the family centenery reunion. Happy memories and happy days.

Sad to see the news of Tom Turner. I first met him while he was at Sandhurst, our home was his UK base at the time. Last saw him on a visit to NZ in 2001 for the family centenary.

To the Turner Family, sorry to see the passing of Major Tom, we served together in Malaya 2nd Bn NZ Regt 1959-1961 as young 20 year olds. He has earned his rest and now may he rest in peace.Kura Takahe Puni.
