Thomas Wroten Obituary
He was born in Cedar Grove, Louisiana, April 4, 1924, son of Thomas Vincent Wroten and Zelma Mae Wooley.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas Vincent Wroten and Zelma Mae Wooley; first wife, Imogene Mae Steel, second wife, Agnes Johnson Wroten; one son, "Tommy" Thomas Jack Wroten; five brothers, Jack, Moody, Bobby Jo, Bert and Selman Wroten; three sisters, Alice Ola Daley, June Hasty and Betty Kniffin.
Survivors include his son and daughter, Gary Wroten and Gladys Wroten; sister Ruth Swick; grandchildren, Nicole Wroten Oldham, Delisa Galton and Gabriel Wroten; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30am, Friday, April 29, 2016 at Loyd James Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Noonday Cemetery following the service and will begin at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Texas 75701.

Words can't describe when your parents are here on this earth for 92 yrs. My father just recently passed away on March 23rd,he was also 92. Gary...I believe we were in junior high when we knew one another. My thoughts are with you and your family. Take care.
