Tina Marie Lopez

Tina Marie Lopez (94) passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Tina was born in Yeso, NM on August 27, 1928. She lived in multiple places; Melrose and Bernalillo, NM, even San Francisco, CA, before finally settling down in Clovis, NM. After a long career, she retired from Cannon Airforce Base. She also served as an Auxiliary member at America Legion Post 25.
Rosary will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 10:00 am with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:30 am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 108 N Davis Street.
Tina was cheerful, witty, and full of wisdom. She was a master of all home remedies; (mustard, Vicks, kerosene and corona.) She had favorite words of wisdom that were shared with many over the years through social relations and later, her social media following aka "Mama Tina". Her favorite advice was "mejor sola que mal acompañada".
Her greatest love and accomplishment were raising her 6 children and she adored her 39 grandchildren.
Tina loved to dance, do "seek 'n find" word searches, and jigsaw puzzles. "Mama Tina" was an avid viewer of NCIS, and Law & Order: SVU. One could never not visit the house without seeing this play on the television screen.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Barbara Duran, Randy Lopez (Angela), Teddy Lopez (Sandra), Judy Lopez (Sunny), Johnathan Lopez (Anna), Debbie Stocker, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Tina goes on to join her husband, Ramon Lopez, her parents Miguel, and Victoria Sanchez. Gloria Mares, Jose Lopez, Jeremy Mares, Mark Jason Lopez, and Jayda Marquez.
