Tommy Joe Nobles, Jr. was born on July 3, 1944, to the late Pastor Tommy N. and Birdie Lee (Collins) Nobles. The Lord saw fit to grant him rest on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Tommy was educated in the Austin Public School System. He was very artistic and enjoyed such crafts as coin and baseball collection, not to mention he was a gifted Bar-B-Quer. Before settling in Ambler, PA, Tommy lived in his home of Austin, TX and Camden, NJ. Recently, Tommy enjoyed retirement and worked at Weldon Auto Parts in Ambler. Tommy Joe was married to Bernice (Williams) Nobles and was a very devoted husband. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Tommy leaves to cherish his memory: his lovely wife Bernice; 4 sons: Tommy A Nobles III (Grace), Leonard B. Nobles, Robert Lee Nobles (Celeste), Patrick Nobles (Carvil)all of Austin, TX. 1 daughter Tamita Jewell Nobles Smith (Kenny).1 step-son: Jeffrey Jermal Williams of Telfors, PA, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Billy Spence Nobles and Frankie Lee Nobles (Linda) both of Austin, TX. 1 sister Gwendolyn Nobles Everett of Philadelphia; 2 Aunts: Barbara Jo Dickerson (Nathanial) and Flossie Walker (Maurice) both of Austin, TX and a host of family members inclusive of extended Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. He was predeceased by one son Brian Jackson (Glenda)
