ULF ARON KARL KAHN
February 12, 1928 ˜ May 13, 2020
Ulf Aron Karl Kahn, age 92, of La Center, Washington, died Wednesday morning, May 13, 2020 at his beloved Bar UK River Ranch. Born February 12, 1928, in Stockholm Sweden, Ulf immigrated to the USA in 1950.
Ulf, was in the Swedish Army from 1947 to 1948 and also the USA Army serving in Germany from 1954 to 1956.
He attended the U of W in 1951 with a BA in business and economics. Ulf was a respected Business executive for Pendleton Woolen Mills and retired in 1987. Then he worked full time on his Ranch in La Center, raising cattle and horses and working the ranch.
Ulf won many trophies and awards in horse endurance riding. He was a musician, boxer, marathon runner, athlete, and loved to play billiards, table tennis and chess. Ulf loved to travel with his wife Petsy, they made many trips back to Sweden to visit his Swedish family. They traveled all over the world together.
Ulf has a powerful family group who were all involved with his care for the last few months.
Ulf is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Petsy Kahn; along with 4 children, Karyn (Gary) Byers, Lisa (Jeff) Lowery, Erik Kahn, and Rolf (Deana) Kahn; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother; and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.

I have been reminded many times of my very special and so dearly loved Uncle Ulf over the past year. I miss him so much and am grateful for the many memories made and wonderful times shared over the years. I will always cherish them. ❤

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Ulf. He was an amazing man and will be missed by so many! We have so many fond memories of Ulf that we will cherish forever. Even as a small child, I remember him watching out for me to make sure I was okay around all the older kids. I was bummed however the one time he figured out that I snuck into Rolf's room with the older kids to listen to Cheech & Chong, and he pulled me right out of there, lol. A more recent memory, three years ago, Damon and I were up to our knees trying to get our nerve up to jump in the river and here comes Ulf running past us, 100 miles an hour, diving into the river like he has has always done, we both felt like wimps of course. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Ulf. We are thinking of you Pet and all of your wonderful family. Our heart goes out to all of you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love, Lezli, Damon and family

I am very thankful for the years I was so fortunate to have Uncle Ulf in my life. He taught me countless life lessons, set the bar high by example and offered love and support that will never be forgotten. He may not be with us in person any longer, but he will live on in my heart forever, as I know he will for many others as well.

Dad you brought our family such happiness and togetherness ❤You are my loving father that has always been there for me❤I will forever miss opening your-house door and seeing your eyes light up and say my Lil Lisa is here and tell me how much you love me. It's been a tough year but you rallied and gave us 4 months more than what the nurse's told us. You were so strong and determined to continue and never gave up with the pain and confusion over taking you. The Love you had for mama is unbelievable she misses you beyond words I know we will reunite someday when I join you. Send me signs I will see them and know you surround us with your love Thank you for your loving heart and kindness and being the best dad ever❤
