Victor Ernesto Che Trujillo

Victor Ernesto Che Trujillo, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2025, at the age of 55. Born and raised in Albuquerque,New Mexico, Victor lived life on his own terms: full of laughter, music, and a love for celebrating every moment.

Victor was the devoted husband of Monica Trujillo and proud father of Nicholas (Teresa) Trujillo, Jacob (Shelby) Taylor, and Gabriel (Dominique) Taylor. He was an adoring "Papo" to his grandchildren: Rosalyn, Raphael, and Rebecca (Nicholas); Izabella Rae, and Delilah (Jacob); and Rita, Mayson, and Addison (Gabriel). Family meant everything to him, and he made sure everyone around him felt that love.

Life with Victor was never dull. Outgoing, genuine, and full of energy, he loved a good story, a good laugh, and a good party. Known for his bold sense of humor, playful sarcasm, and "can do" attitude, he had a way of making every moment memorable. Victor believed life was meant to be celebrated.

He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Trujillo; mother-in-law, Loraine King; and father-in-law, Nash Torres. He is survived by his mother, Angie Flores; stepfather-in-law, Michael King; siblings Katrina (Gabe) Burgess, Michael (Marlo) Guterrez, Juanita (Lenny) Tartaglia, and Tommy (Nicole) Sena; brothers-in-law Conrad (Darlene) Torres, Ronald (Ana-Lisa) Torres, Nash Torres, and Thomas King; and chosen siblings Renee Ullrich and Robert (Jennifer) Jaramillo.

Victor had a mind like a library and a memory that amazed everyone-he was "Google before Google existed." Whether it was history, music, or some random fact you didn't even know you needed, he had the answer. Victor's favorite sayings, like "Why you little?" and "Today is a good day to die," captured his humor, boldness, and zest for life. He was a man who gave freely of his heart, lifted spirits, and made everyone around him feel alive. He loved God, loved family, and loved living-all with intensity, laughter, and an open heart.

Victor's legacy is the joy he spread, the memories he created, and the love he shared. He showed everyone how to live fully, love freely, and never miss a chance to dance, sing, laugh, or celebrate life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, cherished Papo, and a man who made the world brighter simply by being in it.
