Victoria SIMLE Obituary
SIMLE, Victoria Joan (nee Nichols) December 21, 1952 - March 28, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Victoria Simle announces her peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer. Vicki will be deeply missed by her mother Anne Cotton, son Justin Simle, daughter Jennifer Bethke, family and many friends. Vicki grew up in Rossland, BC and graduated from UBC with an honors degree in Home Economics. After living in many parts of the world she returned to her beloved BC, settling in Cloverdale and working for the City of Surrey. She will be lovingly remembered for her grace, generosity and courage. Vicki's family would like to express deep gratitude to the doctors and nurses on the Palliative Care Unit at the Surrey Memorial Hospital and those with Fraser Valley Health Home Care for their dedicated, compassionate care and support. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 3 p.m. at the Bethany Newton United Church, 14853 - 60th Avenue, Surrey and a reception tea will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
