FR. VINCENT J. MORGAN, S.J. At René Goupil House (Jesuit Infirmary) Pickering, ON on Thursday, March 25, 2010 in his 91st year and 69th year as a member of the Society of Jesus. Father Morgan was born in Hamilton, ON, the son of the late Francis Morgan and Mabel Best. In 1944, Father Morgan was assigned to the Jesuit mission in Darjeeling, India and remained there until 1996 when he returned to Canada as Chaplain to the Sisters at Carmel Heights Monastery, Mississauga, ON. Failing health in 2004 forced Father to move to Pickering, ON. Visitation at Rosar- Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley), in Toronto, ON, Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa- Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre, Liverpool Road North, Pickering, ON. Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, St. Ignatius Chapel Manresa- Jesuit Spiritual Centre, Liverpool Road North, Pickering, ON. Interment in Jesuit Cemetery, Guelph, ON, Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. In memory of Father Morgan, donations may be made to the Jesuit Development Office, 43 Queen's Park Crescent East, Toronto, ON M5S 2C3.
