VIVIAN M. CHRISTIAN

LANCASTER: Vivian M. Christian 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away in the arms of her devoted daughter, Jan on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was born on October 25, 1926 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Ray and Margaret Knight.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, of 61 years, Ray Christian, their dear son, Terry Christian, parents, brothers, Verlin and Grant Knight. She is survived by her sisters, June Bralley of Fairfield Beach, Ohio and Billie (Dick) Cavanaugh of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Jerry (Dorothy) Knight of Cleveland, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Congragation of Jehovah Witnesses, an accomplished artist, who also loved home decorating.

For several years, Vivian was assisted by her daughter, and many kind health professionals enabling her to stay in her home. She was always complimented for her natural beauty and her sweet disposition. The family would like to thank the staff at Rockmill Rehabilitation Center, especially Melody, Brett and Irene for their close attention to her needs these last eight months.

Her memory is cherished by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ed King, grandson, Seth Held, granddaughter, Stepheny Smith and great grandchildren, Garrett, Jadon and Alexa Spiker.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Caring Cremation has taken place.
