Dot & Sonny:
I just learned of your mother's passing. Although she had been in failing health for many years, I'm saddened by the news. I remember her as a hard-working woman who always took the time to make me feel welcome. There was little, if any, time for the little pleasures in life because the Tewksbury Inn consumed most of her time. The only thing she demanded of us was that we stay far away from the bar area. As a child, I didn't understand why it was off-limits. Of course, as an adult it was obvious why she was so strict about it. She reward us by giving us potato chips and a soda. I remember her smile and her fashion-sense. When she wasn't wearing an apron or tending bar, she always looked so "put together". She has left behind a wonderful legacy with her family. They don't make 'em like her any more. Rest in peace, Wanda.
